There are thousands of free fonts out there for you to use - the biggest problem is looking at them all! Here, we show you how to install fonts on a windows machine and where to find free fonts.
How to Install Fonts on your Windows computer
Firstly. download the font(s) you want and save it to a convenient place on your hard drive. 
I chose a font called "aberration" from 1001 Free Fonts and clicked the Win download button and saved it to my desktop. (The font was zipped up so I unzipped it to the desktop also).
Click Start and then Control Panel.
Choose Fonts. The Fonts window will load.
Choose File: Install new font
Navigate to where you saved the font (in my case the desktop), highlight and click OK. Make sure the "Copy fonts to Fonts folder" is ticked.
You should now be able to open up any program you have that uses fonts and see the new font in the font list.
